  • Here’s how we do it:
  • Early to mid-March: Fertilizer and pre-emergent weed control. This application will target late Spring weeds by preventing germination and its heavier nitrogen component will begin the spring green up.
  • April/May: Fertilizer plus weed control. This application will prevent crabgrass seed from germinating and give those spring weeds a knockout punch. You will be set up for summer with a weed free lawn and lush green color.
  • June: Summer fertilizer with bio-stimulants/micronutrients plus post-emergent spot weed control. Bio-stimulants are applied to improve the performance of our fertilizers while improving the soil quality in the root zone.
  • July: Post-emergent spot weed control plus this application includes an insecticide which helps control the population of certain “turf-destructive” insects such as Sod Webworm and some grubs. It will also help control surface pests such as fleas, ticks, mosquitoes for up to one month.
  • September/October: Fertilizer plus weed control. This application will clear up any weeds, while replenishing nutrients lost during the growing season and help recover from summer stress.
  • November: Winter fertilizer plus weed control. This application will feed and prepare your lawn for the following spring. It will target weeds which would emerge in the early Spring.

Core Aeration & Overseeding

  • 1 Treatment:
    Let your lawn breathe while filling any bare spots with our fall aeration and over seeding to help push your lawn to becoming even fuller and healthier.

  • 4 Treatments:
    Support the nutritional needs of your trees and shrubs so they continue to look their best and grow well. Our expert team can apply the right products to prevent or treat diseases, manage insects, and set your plants up to grow.

Soil Testing

We recommend extracting a soil sample for analysis every year, or at minimum once every three (3) years. Soil samples are obtained from multiple locations throughout your property and sent to Virginia Tech for analysis, offering full nutrient profile and personal recommendations for your property.

Lime Application

  • 1 Treatment: Counter the acidic Virginia soil with a 50#/1,000SF lime application to assist grass roots to absorb nutrients and discourage weed growth.
